What if everyone could enjoy
being at the table again?

LE SANS FOURCHETTE® means restaurant meals to share… with your fingers!

This simple, intuitive gesture gives back independence to people weakened by age, neurocognitive disorders, disability or illness (such as Alzheimer's disease), while rebuilding what makes a meal special: the pleasure of being together. The inclusive LE SANS FOURCHETTE® concept was born in Marseille in 2011, created by the Mémoire & Santé association. It has since spread all over France.

Our values

  • Inclusion

Everyone is on an equal footing.

  • Independence

Everyone eats freely, at their own pace and as they need.

  • Pleasure and conviviality

Guests rediscover appetite and the joy of food around the table, which brings people together.

  • Passing it on

The next generation of chefs and restaurateurs learns inclusive gastronomy.

  • Together

The adventure is shared at the table, in the kitchen and through inspiring partnerships.

In figures

  • 100 meals held all over France
  • +6500 guests brought together at our events
  • +25 000 bites of gastronomy created
  • 27 cities visited across France

Beyond Alzheimer's

Beyond Alzheimer's: an answer to disability, loss of independence and undernutrition, so everyone can eat well at any age.

Beyond Alzheimer's disease, LE SANS FOURCHETTE® works for better health through food: balanced, well-portioned meals that support independent eating, help prevent and manage obesity and fight undernutrition, while keeping the pleasure and the conviviality.

THE ASSOCIATION

LE SANS FOURCHETTE® is run by Mémoire & Santé, a non-profit association recognised as being of public interest. Since 2011 we have worked to keep the table a place of pleasure, connection and dignity, whatever a person's age, disability or illness.
